Everything Speaks His Name
This song had a funny beginning. I was listening to the radio when I thought I heard a guy singing, “Everything speaks her name.” I thought, “What a great title for a song!” It turns out, though, that he was singing, “Whenever I speak her name.”
I was thrilled when I learned the real title of the song, because that meant I could use, “Everything speaks His name.” And instead of a love song, I wrote it about Jesus – for all things truly testify of him. This is one of my first songs and I loved writing about how we can find God everywhere and in everything.
