Just Pray

One night I was wondering which of the songs I've written recently to take to the studio and record for a scheduled session. As I played through each song, the thought came that I should write a song about prayer.

It was an out-of-the-blue thought. But I started the first few lines. That night our son Gary came over and I played what I had for him. He said, "Mom, that's the song you should do." I told him the studio day was in just 3 days and I didn't think I had time. And he said, "I'll help you write it."

And so we wrote the majority of it that night.

I love this song, it's one of my favorites! I hope it will be sung and shared - A LOT - and inspire thousands of people to turn to God for hope, healing, rest, and the assurance that He is there.
