That Someone is a song for all the dads who make the lives of their kids better in every way. When I write a song like this, I'm always thinking about the kids without their dads around to make their life happier. And I feel for them.
And yet I want to celebrate all the men who ARE there. They are seen and they are loved. I specifically don't use the word "Dad" or "Father" in this song because, well, there's a lot of male influencers in the lives of each one of us. I want anyone who sings this song to think of the one who touches their heart.
